Loving Burberry Pre-fall – simple sweaters and jackets paired with well-fitted pants. The black-tie looks are very sleek. Hopefully we’ll see something like this for real Fall, a welcome change from the studs and leather of Spring.

Burberry Prorsum F/W 2010 – Up Close!

A trip to the Burberry store today, these garments from the Prorsum collection are absolutely STUNNING (and expensive) in person. I’m kinda in love with that jacket on the top.

This season, it’s full-on Mods vs. Rockers at Burberry. Christopher Bailey sends out the traditional trenches (cut a bit longer at times) and pairs them with country-gent Wellies and olive drab jersey-knit pants; but just when you think he’s gonna swan around in the heather and lilac all day, he chases that world off the runway with studded and swaggering black leather motorcycle vests and gladiator-battle-ready jackets cut badass, tight, and spoiling for a fight. (And speaking of gladiators, check out the gladiator Birkenstocks.)

I’m with them until the second sentence. Wtf? Swan around in heather and lilac? uh okay.

Trenchcoats with mesh sweaters, Motorcycle Rocker Jackets with Gladiator Sandals? Not my favorite Prorsum collection, but very much consistent with the name ‘Prorsum’. I always love the styling at Burberry shows – guys always look great! I’m really digging the shorter cut jackets.

Burberry Prorsum Resort! Here are the men’s pieces.

Clearly in Burberry world, you still wear trench coats at the resort. I still love it – classic shapes and a color pallet that can’t fail – blacks, blues, and olive greens. I want everything!

I don’t really understand the April Showers campaign. I don’t think the clothes are actually new – is it just reassembling existing pieces and slapping some rainboots and an umbrella on it?

Exercise at the office, the model way! The New York Times had Aiden Andrews show us how to maintain that circulation when you happen to be in the office wearing Marni, Burberry, etc. Adorable!
