Paris Fashion Week – F/W 2011 – John Galliano
What much have been a very awkward presentation, John Galliano’s namesake line walked the runway. Class drama and beauty of what is Galliano’s signature. It is unclear what the fate of this line will be – if there will be any buyers for this collection – which is a shame because it is amazing. Nobody can put on a show like Galliano.

The usual Galliano flair was at work here – half-costume show circus, half-theatrics. That said I’m kind of obsessed with the most basic looks in the collection (below). Maybe it’s the scarf thing I’m going through?

Paris Fashion Week – S/S 2011 – John Galliano
The thing I love about this show is that is so theatrical, but if you separate the over-the-top styling and just look at the clothes, they are still quite beautiful and wearable. It really is a combination of theatre, art, and fashion. Who doesn’t love watching models do a little character acting?

Fash-gasm!
Seems like a more refined version of his Russian Princesses from last fall (even the runway looks simliar). Clothes are extremely striking and well-made. Very grand and audacious – just like him!
Uhh… kay.
