Marc Jacobs Spring 2012
I am seriously lusting after the shoes and the bright orange bag right now.

New York Fashion Week – F/W 2011 – Marc Jacobs
Loving this collection. Pure Fashion. The collection is all about restriction, with tight fitted clothing made of rubber sequins, there was definitely a overt sexuality to the show sans vulgarity. Love the pulled-hair and glamourous headpieces.

Fight-Night
I also tense up when I see picture of Naomi – this is a pretty weird editorial entitled ‘Fight-Night’ for Stern magazine.

New York Fashion Week – S/S 2011 – Marc Jacobs
This collection definitely SHUT. IT. DOWN. It was so beautiful. I’m thrilled that they Live Streamed it again as it was beautifully staged. The collection is heavy on 70’s references but pulls the looks off in a very elegant and modern way. I am in love with the ridiculously huge flower embellishments, especially the chrysanthemum neck-pieces. The hair, big-ass hats, everything worked so harmoniously.

FNO on Jimmy Fallon
Asides from Jimmy Fallon being terrible, check out this clip of Anna Wintour and Marc Jacobs on his show! Watch Anna mock Lady Gaga’s moment with god.
Marc Jacobs F/W Lookbook
I digging the vibe from Marc Jacobs namesake line for Fall. The sandals/sock combo could be worse, but I don’t think it’s going to take off anytime soon. I’m always a fan of simple, class, well executed garments. It’s not trying to hard and looks so chic!
I Got Banged
I don’t know if it’s just my weird obsession with MJ, but I genuinely like the fragrance. The bottle design is fascinating – the dent is a lot deeper than I thought it was.
Images from MJ’s Twitter
Marc Jacob Intl.’s Twitter was showing some serious drama – something about legal not allowing these images to be published in a book. It was seriously intense so I grabbed the images in case they get deleted. Aren’t they amazing? Photographed by Brian Bowen Smith.
Curious
File this under random purchases – I wonder if I can wear this without looking like a total nub.
I’ll get some suspenders next time and look like a real winner!
